She described the government's actions as a tampering with constitutional ideals and values, and suggested that the BJP will soon be removed from power in Delhi.

Banerjee's nephew, Abhishek Banerjee, who is a Lok Sabha MP, recently received a demolition notice over alleged unauthorized construction. Despite the potential intimidation, Abhishek Banerjee vowed to continue the fight against the BJP, stating that he won't bow down to any form of pressure.
The meeting also highlighted the ongoing tensions between the TMC and the BJP. Abhishek Banerjee took a dig at Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, referencing the controversial Narada sting operation from 2014, when Adhikari was still a member of the TMC. The TMC plans to launch a series of protests against the forceful eviction of hawkers and what it describes as the 'bulldozer culture' unleashed by the BJP. These protests will be organized at three locations in and around Kolkata, near Ballygunge, Howrah Junction, and the Sealdah railway station.
In my opinion, Mamata Banerjee's comments are a clear indication of the growing discontent within West Bengal against the BJP government.
